Our second book is ISKRA: A Poetry Anthology has the very broad theme of violence against women and girls encompassing women’s lived experiences of male violence – particularly domestic and sexual violence and abuse. We want to acknowledge the myriad of ways in which women write their experiences of living within a white supremacist, capitalist patriarchy.
Poets who contributed to the anthology are Roweena Russell, Barbara Hughes, Khairani Barokka, Ali Bee, Cat Brogan, Jane Burn, Stephanie Campisi, Natalie Collins, T.J Collins, El Dia, Oge Ejizu, Acia Eve, Extreme Crochet, Rahila Gupta, Lynsey Hansford, Katharina Maria Kalinowski, Clare Lavery, Theresa Lola, Claire Meadows-Haworth, Huma Munshi, Jan Martin, Victoria M. Massey, Claire Moore, Mary Moylan, Nicky Phillips, Mary Rugman, Natalie Shaw, Lynda Anne Sherlock, Clarissa Simmens, Debby Smith, Camilla Strand, Fi Smith, Emma Tofi, Delores Williams, Angharad Williams, and John Woudberg.
The proceeds from this book will be used to raise funds to continue the Everyday Victim Blaming campaign. Copyright of all poems submitted will remain with the author.
